Dr. Nicolas Mosimann

Nicolas Mosimann’s practice focuses on M&A, corporate law, technology and intellectual property law as well as commercial law. He advises Swiss and international companies and institutions on transactions (acquisitions, exits, financing rounds, joint ventures, licenses and outsourcing) and on technology projects (e.g. in the fields of cloud, IoT, DLT, open source software), research and cooperation agreements, trade contracts and data protection (including the EU GDPR).

Nicolas Mosimann advises clients from the pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, technology, IT, private equity and venture capital sectors as well as advertising agencies and clients from the cultural and entertainment sectors.

As a founding member and co-head of the Startup desk at Kellerhals Carrard, he knows the needs of both entrepreneurs/companies during the start-up and growth phases and venture capital investors.

He has been a member of AIJA for many years and maintains an excellent international network of contacts.

• Advising IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) as investor in BC Platforms AG’s Series C financing round;

• Advising investors led by Kontivia AG on the acquisitions of the Katadyn Group, Hipp Technology Group and Wymed AG;

• Advising Exeon Analytics AG, Dotphoton SA, Qnami AG, Bottmedical AG and Keto Swiss AG on financing rounds, and
