IT Security and Cybercrime

The threat posed by cyber attacks has intensified significantly in recent years for businesses and supply chains. Good IT security and resilience require proactive cybersecurity programmes that adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and, in particular, comply with companies’ data protection, organisational, labour and regulatory requirements (Cybersecurity by Design). From a reactive perspective, the focus is on dealing appropriately with ongoing cyber attacks – from cybersecurity investigations through crisis and continuity management to resolving issues following an incident – as well as addressing the corresponding responsibilities of the company and the individuals involved.
