Dr. Kevin MacCabe

Kevin MacCabe's practice focuses on M&A and corporate law as well as on finance and banking law. He advises Swiss and international companies and entrepreneurs on transactions (acquisitions, exits, financing rounds and joint ventures) and on regulatory matters. As a member of the Startup Desk, he has in-depth expertise in advising founders in all phases of the life cycle of a startup, from incorporation, financing rounds to exit strategies. He also regularly advises venture capital investors (business angels, VCs, CVCs) on all aspects of investments.

Furthermore, Kevin MacCabe advises clients on the implementation of FinTech projects with a particular emphasis on blockchain technology. Being the author of a doctoral thesis on asset tokens, he has both legal and technical expertise in this area. In addition to his work as an attorney, Kevin MacCabe is a lecturer at the University of Basel.
