Academic depth and more than 15 years of experience as a litigator define Christoph Bauer's work. He guides his clients through commercial disputes before state courts at all levels as well as before arbitral tribunals – nationally and internationally, and across a wide range of industries and areas of law. A further focus lies in preparing legal opinions on complex questions of private and procedural law. As a full professor at the University of Lucerne, he researches and teaches in private law, civil procedure and debt enforcement and bankruptcy law – an engagement with the doctrinal foundations that enables him to assess even complex and novel legal questions with rigour and to develop sound solutions, both in advisory work and in court.
