How can companies protect themselves against greenwashing accusations?
There are currently various endeavours by different players to avoid greenwashing. In contrast to other countries, Swiss law does not recognise the status of "sustainable company". However, in September 2023, a parliamentary initiative was submitted to introduce an optional legal status of "sustainable company" for Swiss SMEs.
