Niklas Somm

I studied law at the University of Basel. During my studies, I worked at several academic chairs in various assistant roles, supporting research and teaching in public law – particularly administrative law and constitutional law – as well as in private law, focusing on the general part of the Swiss Code of Obligations and private international law. Additionally, I conducted tutorials in administrative law and the general part of the Swiss Code of Obligations. I gained practical experience during a short internship at a renowned law firm in Basel and through a voluntary traineeship at the West Civil Court of Arlesheim, where I gained in-depth insights into judicial practice and the conduct of civil proceedings. Personal interaction with people is important to me – as a communicative and athletically active individual, I bring team spirit, commitment, and perseverance.
