Deal Ticker: Rhenus Group acquires Interfracht Group
On January 31, 2020, Rhenus Group acquired the Interfracht Group, a worldwide operating forwarding and logistics group, with retroactive effect from January 1, 2020.
The transaction comprises all legal and operational units of Interfracht Speditions AG, Interfracht Logistik AG, Intertruck GmbH and Interfracht Overseas Ltd, Hong Kong. The Interfracht Group has 211 employees and, being a member of CargoLine, enjoys access to an efficient European surface transport network, which allows the Rhenus Group to strengthen and expand its road transport services in Switzerland.
