Every groundbreaking company has a unique story behind its beginnings. Before she became the visionary entrepreneur behind Swijin, Claudia Glass was a passionate athlete and literature teacher.
And she complained about the same when running and then jumping into water. The difference? She refused to accept it and went on a mission. A mission to redesign what women wear when they move.
That mission became Swijin. Through innovation, resilience, and a vision to set new standards, Claudia has proven that no matter where your journey starts, with determination and drive, anything is possible. In collaboration with the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Material Science and Technology, a research institute of ETH Zürich, Swijin created a fast drying, high-tech fabric double layer bra that offers land support and swimsuit-like compression.
Recently, Claudia’s hard work and dedication were recognized on a global stage when Swijin won the prestigious Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia among more than 10,000 startups worldwide.
