Deal Ticker: Kellerhals Carrard advised Helanis on acquisition of Schaltag Group as part of a management buy-in

On June 3, 2024, it was announced that the Schaltag Group, consisting of Schaltag AG in Effretikon (CH), Schaltag CZ s.r.o in Ústí nad Orlicí (CZ), PAVIS Engineering GmbH in Ravensburg (DE), and PAVIS Engineering Ibérica SL (ES), was acquired by Helanis AG in Zurich (CH) supported by a Swiss management buy-in team. With over 60 years of tradition, Schaltag Group is a leading expert in engineering, providing services in automation, switch cabinet construction, apparatus, machine and plant engineering as well as cable assembly.


All 250 employees across the four locations as well as existing customer and supplier relationships, will be retained by Helanis AG. This strategic acquisition aims to ensure sustainable growth, further development of the product portfolio, and enhanced customer relations for Schaltag and PAVIS Engineering. The purchase price was not disclosed.
