Michael Kremer advises banks, securities firms, asset managers, trustees, fund management companies, and other financial services providers on financial market, banking, and capital markets law. A key focus of his practice is advising and representing financial institutions in licensing proceedings before the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, as well as on licensing requirements and regulatory classification matters. His practice also covers compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), corporate governance, and cross-border matters relating to the provision of financial services.
In the areas of asset management and collective investment schemes, Michael Kremer advises Swiss and international clients in particular on regulatory matters, the distribution of foreign funds in Switzerland, and fund documentation, including fund prospectuses and fund contracts. He also advises investment foundations on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters and assists them with supervisory proceedings as well as organizational and corporate law matters.
