About

Guillaume Jacquemet joined the Geneva office of Kellerhals Carrard as an associate in 2022, after having completed his training as an attorney at law (2020-2021). He focuses primarily on business law, including corporate and capital markets law, corporate governance, financing, restructuring, reorganization and liquidation. Guillaume Jacquemet is currently finalizing a doctoral thesis entitled: "Sustainable Corporate Governance: Reflections on the economic and legal foundations of sustainable business management ". From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Geneva Faculty of Law, alongside Professor Henry Peter. During his research, he benefited from both public and private funding (from the SNSF and foundations in Geneva respectively) which enabled him to carry out part of his work at Stanford University (Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society) and the University of California, Berkeley (Berkeley Center for Law and Business). He was admitted to the Bar in 2021 (first rank).
