Charles Ochsner, an attorney at the Geneva Bar, is the first Swiss lawyer to be admitted in Japan as foreign attorney-at-law in 1998. He is a member of the Tokyo Bar II (Daini Tokyo Bengoshikai). He advises Japanese companies and private clients on Swiss and international law. He lives in Tokyo.
He also advises CH Projects Management Ltd., a Japanese consulting company he established in 1988. CHPM has founded a large number of Japanese subsidiaries of Swiss companies and supports their commercial activities in Japan. CHPM especially provides services related to human resources, accounting, tax, protection of intellectual property and corporate compliance.
In particular, Charles Ochsner’s experience allows him to advise his foreign clients who are already represented in Japan by local partners when their business is taken over by a newly established subsidiary.
