Kellerhals Carrard advises BKW on CHF 1.5 billion syndicated credit facility

Kellerhals Carrard advised BKW AG as borrower of its CHF 1.5 billion syndicated multicurrency revolving credit facility. BKW is an international energy and infrastructure company and offers integrated solutions in the fields of energy, buildings and infrastructure. On one hand, the new facility allows to optimize the existing financings. On the other hand, the new facility creates additional financial flexibility to manage any further turmoil in the energy markets and to help ensure a secure electricity supply during the next two winter seasons. UBS Switzerland AG acted as agent and as arranger and a consortium of syndicate banks as lenders.
