Kellerhals Carrard with Kasparund on strategic partnership with Avaloq:

Kasparund AG, a FinTech company and spin-off of University of St. Gallen and ETH Zurich, entered a strategic partnership with Avaloq, a worldwide leader in banking and general wealth management technology based out of Zurich. Concurrently with the strategic partnership, Kasparund obtained minority stake investments from Avaloq, Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank as well as further institutional investors and business angels.

Besides offering a wide array of wealth management and online banking functions, the Kasparund app includes a unique save-as-you-spend solution that rounds up card payments and invests the rounded-up amount in index funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), providing both experienced and inexperienced consumers a low-barrier entry gate into the world of investing.

The seamless integration of the Kasparund technology with Avaloq’s core banking system will enable financial institutions across Switzerland to rapidly roll out the Kaspar& investment app for their retail and mass-affluent clients.
