Deal Ticker: Kellerhals Carrard advises AlpineAI AG on successful Seed Financing Round

Swiss AI sovereignty, backed by an international investor syndicate. This is Swiss sovereign tech with global ambition.

Trusted, high-security artificial intelligence is no longer an abstract promise — it is being built in Davos. AlpineAI AG, the Swiss technology company focused on sovereign and secure AI solutions, has successfully closed its seed financing round. The round was led by Swiss KMU Partners AG (SKP) as lead investor, alongside an international syndicate of tech investors. A strong signal for Switzerland as a technology hub and for the growing importance of data sovereignty and technological independence across Europe.

The fresh capital will support AlpineAI AG in further developing its products, scaling within the Swiss market, and preparing for expansion into key European markets.

Kellerhals Carrard advised AlpineAI AG on all legal aspects of this transaction with a core team comprised of:

  • Umberto Milano (Partner, VC / Corporate)
  • Kathrin Moser (Senior Associate, VC / Corporate),
  • Marine Jorio (Associate, VC / Corporate)
  • Lisa Schmid (Paralegal)

“Securing this investment is a major milestone for AlpineAI AG and a strong validation of our vision to build trusted, sovereign AI solutions in Switzerland and abroad,” said Dr. Daniela Suter, Founder, COO and Financial Manager of AlpineAI AG. “We are grateful for the excellent collaboration with our investors and advisors - especially the dedicated, highly professional support from Kellerhals Carrard. Their expertise and responsiveness were key to closing this round successfully. Together, we are building a strong foundation to scale secure, high-quality AI technologies across Europe.”

Warm congratulations to Pascal Kaufmann and the entire team at AlpineAI AG on this important milestone — and to Daniel Ruedisueli and the teams at Swiss KMU Partners for their commitment to Swiss innovation.
