Kellerhals Carrard with ZuriQ AG on its CHF 20.6 million seed financing round

Spun out of ETH Zürich, ZuriQ builds the core technology inside a quantum computer. Until now, the tiny building blocks that do the work could only be lined up in a single row — and the more you added, the more they got in each other's way. ZuriQ figured out how to spread them out across a chip in two directions instead, like moving from a single lane to an open field. That simple-sounding shift is what finally makes much larger, genuinely useful quantum computers possible and it puts Switzerland at the front of the race.
That vision just drew serious conviction. ZuriQ has raised 𝗖𝗛𝗙 20.6 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, led by Quantonation, with participation from FORWARD.one, Extantia, and Firgun Ventures, alongside all existing investors: Founderful, SquareOne Venture Capital, Onsight Ventures, Speen Holding and FMV Fund. The round gives ZuriQ the runway to scale its technology and its team.
