Kellerhals Carrard advises Engine Ventures and 2150 on Bristol Superlight's Series A

The trucks moving your packages haven't changed in decades, and Bristol Superlight is here to change that. The UK startup built its OV-1 electric truck completely from scratch with no diesel engine converted to electric. Think aerospace engineering meets commercial trucking: More space for cargo, half the energy consumption, and a fraction of the manufacturing cost of a traditional truck. They've already clocked 500,000 kilometers of real-world testing. Bristol Superlight (BSL CH AG) has now closed an oversubscribed $21 million Series A, co-led by** Engine Ventures** and 2150. Kellerhals Carrard had the pleasure to advise the investors comprehensively in this round.
The Kellerhals Carrard deal team consisted of: • Karim Maizar (Lead, Partner, Corporate / VC / M&A) • Kathrin Moser (Senior Associate, Corporate / VC / M&A) • Céline Schmid (Employment / M&A) • Dr. Angelica Maria Schwarz (Partner, Tax) • Norbert Schenk (Senior Associate, Corporate / VC / M&A) • Dr. Rehana Harasgama (Partner, Data Protection) • Vera Vallone (Senior Associate, IP)
Warm congratulations to Engine Ventures and 2150 on this round and to the entire Bristol Superlight team on this well-deserved milestone.
