Deal Ticker: Kellerhals Carrard is proud to have advised RTDT Laboratories AG on its CHF 4 million seed financing round.

RTDT Laboratories AG — an ETH Zurich spin-off — has developed Aerosense, a breakthrough wireless, ultra-thin sensor patch coupled with AI-driven analytics, delivering high-frequency aerodynamic and structural insights directly from wind turbine blades. Originally designed for predictive maintenance, Aerosense quickly revealed its broader value in turbine control and design optimization.

Supported by Swisscom Ventures, Rockstart, BackBone Ventures, Kickfund, and Venture Kick — with additional backing from Stadt Zürich’s Klimup program — RTDT will scale production, strengthen its team, and speed up software development. Notably, Aerosense has already forged a path beyond renewable energy: the ETH AI Center connected RTDT with Indian authorities to deploy its sensor tech for road quality monitoring on the 594 km Ganga Expressway in India.
