Dr. Tadas Zukas is a financial markets lawyer specialising in sustainable finance and ESG regulation. He advises financial institutions, corporates, fintech and start‑ups, family offices, foundations and individual investors on the full spectrum of sustainability matters, from strategy development to greenwashing prevention. He also serves as an independent expert.
A recognised voice in the Swiss and European sustainable finance market, Dr. Zukas is a member of the Swiss Bankers Association Working Group on Sustainable Finance, which played a central role in shaping Swiss ESG self‑regulation. His new book on European Sustainable Finance Regulation has earned wide acclaim.
He is a Senior Fellow at the Competence Center of Sustainability at the University of Zurich and at the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth, where he lectures and speaks regularly at industry events.
Before joining Kellerhals Carrard, Dr. Zukas served as Global Lead Senior Legal Counsel Sustainability/ESG at a major Swiss bank. His in‑house ESG legal work earned him recognition in the Legal500 GC Powerlist Switzerland 2025.
