Sharon Petralia has been working as a junior associate at Kellerhals Carrard since October 2026. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law at the University of Zurich, where she is currently pursuing her PhD.
Before joining Kellerhals Carrard, she worked as a research assistant at two university chairs and as a doctoral researcher in the interdisciplinary research program “URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R.” Her recent focus has been on intellectual property, competition, and antitrust law; previously, she primarily dealt with issues related to medical and family law.
Her dissertation explores patent-related access issues concerning CRISPR-Cas9 technology and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Peter Georg Picht.
Her professional interests lie particularly in intellectual property law, competition and antitrust law, medical law, as well as general business law.
