
Pragmatic, reliable, out-going problem solver
Mërgim Gutaj is currently studying at the University of Zurich for a doctorate in Legislative Studies, Digital Democracy. He is also currently preparing to sit the Bar examination.
During his studies he has previously gained experience in legal practice in a variety of firms. During his periods as a pupil lawyer he has in particular worked in the fields of family and contract law. Previously he worked as a lawyer in one of the largest communication agencies in Switzerland, where he responded to and solved major legal queries and problems presented to him from the fields of employment, trademark, company, data protection and contract law.
As well as studying for a doctorate he provides substantial support in our major commission on combating fraud connected with Covid-19 credits. His field of activity predominantly comprises criminal law and the law of criminal procedure, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, as well as contract law, the law of tort and company law.
