About

Denise Wohlwend has been an Associate at Kellerhals Carrard since 2021. As a multilingual lawyer, she specializes in national and international dispute resolution in civil and commercial law, environmental law, arbitration, white-collar crime, and international legal assistance in criminal and civil matters. Denise also has in-depth knowledge of international law.

She is the author of the monograph The International Rule of Law (Edward Elgar Publishing 2021) and she is a lecturer in Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg (Master’s course "Global Justice and the Law"). Being both an international and domestic lawyer, she helps clients to effectively tackle legal questions that arise at the interfaces between international and domestic law. Denise has a particular interest in sustainability and ESG law and has been a co-editor of the Austrian journal Nachhaltigkeitsrecht since 2023.
