About

Björn is a German-qualified Attorney at Law (registered in the public list of lawyers who are nationals of EU/EFTA member states in accordance with Article 28 FMLA),  specialising in international sports law and arbitration. 

His main areas of expertise are sports integrity and investigations, anti-doping, match manipulation, safeguarding, governance, football-related disputes, disciplinary and regulatory disputes, and international human rights law in sports-related matters. 

Björn acts as counsel before sports association tribunals and arbitral tribunals, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).  

Björn regularly teaches sports law at universities in Switzerland and abroad.
