Kellerhals Carrard with Isochronic on its acquisition by Bystronic Laser AG

In sheet metal processing, cutting speed has advanced faster than the handling systems around it. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Denges, near Lausanne, Isochronic addresses that gap with its proprietary simultaneous pick-and-place technology, combining innovative robotic kinematics with its own software platform to deliver high-speed automation for laser cutting applications.
Bystronic Laser AG, the Swiss industrial group and a long-standing partner of Isochronic, has acquired the company to expand its automation portfolio and strengthen its ability to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions that increase customer productivity, flexibility and efficiency. Isochronic will continue to operate under its own name.
We advised Isochronic on this transaction. Building on Max-André Haas’ (Partner, VC/Corporate) long-standing relationship with Isochronic, he led this transaction supported by Alexandre Gachet and Frédéric Rochat (Partners, VC/Corporate), Serge Migy (Partner, Tax) and Chris Berczy (Associate, Corporate).
Congratulations to the entire Isochronic team on this transaction. We wish you continued success in this new chapter.
