Deal Ticker: Switzerland's leading online pharmacy established – Kellerhals Carrard advises Galenica
Galenica and Shop Apotheke Europe N.V. are combining the business activities of the specialty pharmacy Mediservice Ltd. and the online pharmacy shop-apotheke.ch in a joint venture. This creates the leading online pharmacy in Switzerland. The transaction will be executed after the approval of the competition authorities, which is expected in the first half of 2023.
Kellerhals Carrard (Beat Brechbühl, Lead, Daniel Emch, Reto Schumacher, Patric Brand, Stefanie Karlen, Robin Juchler) supported Galenica throughout the entire process, in particular with regard to the transaction structure, competition law issues as well as the drafting and negotiation of the contracts.
