CBDC Transfer Rules – Swiss Perspective

The transfer of CBDC - After all, the rules for the transfer also determine the entire technological structure which is necessary for legally binding payments in CBDC. How could digital central bank money (#CBDC) be legally structured in Switzerland? This question is addressed in the article in GesKR 2/2020 by Mirjam Eggen and Cornelia Stengel, whereby the analysis is limited to a CBDC for financial market participants (i.e. a "wholesale CBDC") and the applicability of Swiss private law.
