Kellerhals Carrard advised UNISERS AG, a Swiss semiconductor metrology company that identifies invisible defects caused by contamination in semiconductor materials, which raised $14 million in Seed funding. The deal was led by Intel Capital, with participation from M Ventures, RSBG Ventures and Swisscom Ventures.
The team was led by Partner Thierry Barbey (M&A) and Senior Associate Umberto Milano (M&A), and further comprised of Paralegal Lisa Schmid (M&A).
UNISERS AG is on a mission to change the paradigm of particle inspection in the semiconductor industry at a time when optimizing yield and avoiding excursions in the most advanced and expensive manufacturing nodes holds significant importance.
