Deal Ticker: Kellerhals Carrard advised Aitonomi in intensified strategic partnership by JOST

On 13 May 2024, JOST Werke SE, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of safety-relevant systems for the commercial vehicle industry, announced that it intensified its strategic partnership with Aitonomi AG. Aitonomi develops autopilot software for navigating commercial vehicles and various software components and interfaces for the efficient integration of commercial vehicles into complex logistics processes. The company offers, among other things, autonomously driving electric tugs with smart semi-trailers, as well as autonomously driving delivery robots.

As part of the intensified partnership, JOST granted Aitonomi a convertible loan in the single-digit million range for the achievement of its growth targets.
